Katie is a member of the Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine and has her certificate in animal first aid, and when not busy working or studying, likes bowling, swimming, camping, watching movies and listening to music.  Katie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Mark as well as her cats Casper and Budie, her dog Zak (a recent rescue), and her two rats Gadget and Gizmoe.
