Dr. Charity Brookes graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008. Prior to graduating from OVC, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Guelph. Before joining LeGallais Veterinary Hospital, she worked as a mixed animal practitioner taking care of companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife. Dr. Charity grew up in Sharon on a Hereford cow-calf farm. She moved to Aurora after graduation with her husband Michael. They enjoy living in the Aurora community with their three children, a golden retriever named Thatcher, and their cat, Pippa. When not working, Dr. Charity enjoys spending her time with family and friends, often while skiing/snowboarding, heading to the cottage, or working on a Pinterest-inspired project.
